Shakira’s journey started in Afghanistan, whereas a young girl, she balanced school with caring for a busy household. Life was anything but easy. When she moved to the U.S. in 2016, she arrived with nothing some nights, even sleeping in her old Kia with nowhere else to go.

But Shakira is a fighter. Through every setback, she held tight to her dreams. Along the way, she met Imran now her husband and together, they built a life rooted in resilience, love, and belief in something bigger.

Today, from their cozy home in Boise, Idaho, Shakira hand-pours each Zera Candle with care, intention, and heart. This isn’t just a candle it’s her story. One of strength, warmth, and hope.
